Honestly, some of you FF fanatics will hate me for this, but honestly this was the first game I ever heard this theme. When the start screen popped up, and this music started to swell, I literally could not press the start button, I had to listen to it for a good little bit.

I remember the first time i heard this music during Zeromus fight on FF IV, to me its one of the best music in the serie. I have a really nice feeling everytime i listen to this music. !

@seveneleven235 I recommended uematsu to my singing coach the other day. He is an all around musician, been in the business for thirty years. I played aeris's theme on his piano for him, he looked out of breath and just said, "Wow, I have to listen to more of that". He has said that he has never heard a modern day composer with melodies and music as graceful and heartfelt as uematsu's

I don't know how the hell they made this game so big and elaborate on the PS2. This game is just a monster on all accounts.

@orichalcoshotmailcom Well put, my friend. This game was excellent. It's a shame they didn't remake this for the PS3. I guess they really don't have to though. As they say, you shouldn't fix something that's not broken...
