I had forgotten how much I enjoy "Happiness is a Warm Gun". This has to be my favorite Beatles album, although I could live without Revolution 9 and Goodnight.

he did Luna...It's just John and Paul rejected most of them...lol ...that's why he came out with that triple album right after the breakup...some new stuff..but a lot of songs from the previous years with the Beatles..but I'm with you..would of been a better mix with more George...I Me Mine,.indeed

@kdd3051 - those were the decades before the accountants got involved. The days when a label (eg Virgin) would risk signing up an unknown (eg Mike Oldfield) just because. Now, the music is dissected, judged by tick-boxes, tested against proven formulae, and only when it is within the narrow boundaries set by these musical accountants, will it be released to the general public. And that is perhaps why my 17 year old daughter and her friends are SO hooked on Beatles, Pink Floyd. Black Sabbath etc

While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Blackbird, Helter Skelter, Revolution. Any artist would be happy to make one of these. The Beatles made all four... and put them on the same album!!!

@LunarEcli George did try to contribute more, they just didn't let him. His first solo album is considered his best becuase those were written to land a spot on a Beatles album.

May Harrison live in peace. With Lennon of course, but "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" is such a great song.
