Make sure you either have installed "Java for Mac OS X 10.5 Update 4" via OSX's Software Update; or have Java turned off in ALL your browsers as disscussed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbADQXBteIg It is the most secure to do both.

  • nice exploit apple and sun should try to get this fixed and completely patched up soon

  • Sun did got this fixed last year on all other systems like Solaris, Linux, OpenBSD, etc, but Apple does its own Java implementation and it was left unpatched for 6 months till a grey hat released a proof of concept exploit, which was then reverse engineered by other black hats and are in the wild. Apple now have patched this and it is now available for OSX as Java Update 4.
