  • Sorry....but a fully built engine with a turbo BARELY, walked away from the Evo with MINOR bolt on's from the roll. A waste of money if thats what you get from a fully built engine. If that race was from a dig (how a race should be) the Evo would have killed it.

  • It was in 9 pounds of boost. Low boost. He would have walked him if it was on high boost.

  • My point still remains....that civic is maxed out. let him run more boost then do the race from a dig like a MAN and watch the BOLT ON Evo destroy him. Sorry but when you advertise Full Race Turbo and Built engine and all you see is BARELY walking away from a Bolt On Evo in a roll....pathetic.

  • The civic is nowhere near maxed out. The Evo has an advantage at a dig but fuck it put them both on slicks at the same psi (22) and see if the civic doesnt pac-man that ass. It's going to take a lot more then a bolt on evo to beat a Full Race turboed, built GSR.

  • You just proved my point you moron. You just got done watching a bolt on evo (Stock cams and turbo) keep up in a roll race with a Fully built, turbo'd GSR. If the race was from a dig the Evo would have killed. And no stock block Honda motor will ever hold the STOCK boost of the 4G63.

  • I thought your point was that the civic was maxed out. What fun would it be if the civic was at 25 psi and just destroyed the Evo? He was just making it a more fair race. Stockish evo on 22 psi (high) and built civic on 9 (low boost) Like i said that civic still isn't maxed out. He still wouldn't be even at 22 where the evo was at. Like i said. It would take a lot more than a bolt on Evo to beat that civic.

  • My stock evo ix can't beat hatch idk what going on? They beat like this video I put some toys on it but the car its untuned yet but I hope very soon get a custom tune local dyno Maryland

  • @jwoodxtech i know this is old but that civic jogged passed that evo. i bet the civic, after fully building it and after the cost of everything he put into it thats not motor work, cost as much as a stock evo. fully build the evo, put it on slicks, run 50psi and i bet it would still get beat by a fully built civic on 30psi. FROM A DIG both on slicks. No matter what you say, the civic is way better bang for the buck. end of story. FUCK EVOS!

  • @mikeguknow dnt think its the money more like how much you would have to spend on a honda to even start to take a evo slowly like this one.im sure a dsm with less then 2k witch is probly still alot of money would walk this hatch. so a 1k or less dsm with a litle over 1k in upgrades would be this hatch.and i dont even want to know how much it cost to get this thing just the way it is.just not worth it wen theres a cheaper more superior way

  • fully built on 9 psi.. easily could handle 20+ psi if it needed to, evo would never beat that car

  • people get offended when their 30k cars are being shit on by civics. they just cant handle it

  • just how much psi you are pushing doesnt make all the difference. you also have to take into consideration the compression ratio and on a honda it is obviously going to be higher because it came factory N/A making boost more affective but slightly more dangerous. so if you were to have a 4g63 with stroker kit w/ higher compression while using factory boost then,, you get the picture.
