I built this model railroad beginning in 2006. It is modeled after an area known as the Powder River Basin in Eastern Wyoming. Both BNSF and Union Pacific operate dozens of unit coal trains daily from the multiple coal mines located there. It is one of the busiest rail traffic areas in the world. • Love to know how that drop loader works. I'm currently modeling one that will also work to fill hoppers.

  • The loader is non-operating. I simply used camera angle and plastic coal loads to simulate the loading of a train. An operating loader in N scale would be an ambitious project. Good luck.

  • You have seemed to nailed it! I grew up in Gillette, Wyoming (55 miles north of Antelope aka South Antelope mine. I worked at North Antelope/Rochelle for a few years. I see you added the highway over pass near Bill, Wyoming. Very nicely done! Lots of trains in that area. One of my buddies who works for BNSF had a video of a 3 way meet from the cab but he got in trouble do7 posting the video and had to take it down. Nice work on your railroad tho!!

  • @NscaleAddict Good luck must be with me, I have nearly completed the loader as I type.Videos will be up soon.

  • HOW YOU MAKE THIS WORK

  • WOW
