Dear young believer,

Listen. Please. Even if you hate what I have to say. Even if you don't trust me. For the next three minutes I plead that you listen to these words.

I don't want to change your mind. I don't want you to be like me, to adopt my opinions or my philosophy. I don't want to debate. I just want to tell you what someone should have told me,

which is that nobody knows the truth.

Nobody has a clue what life is really about. Not your pastor, not your family, not you, and especially not me

and though everybody tries, it seems we will never really know.

you will never really know.

People can't accept that and so we believe. We pretended that we know.

I let others convince me that I knew. I didn't.

Look around. Look how easy it is to believe. There are billions of distinct beliefs. obscure and wild beliefs

and even if they contradict each other entirely they all have one tenet in common.

They 'know'. They stop wondering

They ignore doubt. Don't ever ignore doubt. Don't ever call belief a virtue. It's a cage.

Uncertainty is the virtue! Accept ambivalence. Question everything.

This is an odyssey we're all on, and it has no end. It's the adventure of a lifetime.

Don't ever let someone take that from you

Don't ever be sure of anything.

Let your uncertainty be free.

  • only when you feel the peace in your heart & you open your eyes to the blessings God rushes upon you, will you ever know something.

the only certainty in this world is true love. see it in your friends, your family & the ones who died to save you, and the one who molded and made you. the only one who understands you completely. beyond love, there is no unquestionable proof of anything. science is not unquestionable because science is proven by science. we will never be sure in anything but faith

  • Fucking A.

  • so saying "first x-ray was another patient's x-ray (mislabeled) or it was incorrectly interpreted. Happens all the time." you werent even there. im just simply telling you what i know i saw. not to know everything, as you seem to do. id be glad to invite you over my house and show you the xrays. but then again, you already know what happend there with that! your attempting to destroy the evidence with a random event that you came up with. ha. and im glad to know ur speaking for the "audience"

  • @montyapplejuice And the 'conversation cannot go on forever' my friend: you claim to have witnessed a supernatural event... the audience says "OK, where's your evidence" ... you effectively say "coz I said so" ... audience says "is that all you got?" ... you call them pathetic and say "Well, er, yes" - CONVERSATION OVER... you'll go through your whole life having this kind of conversation! Such a waste

  • @montyapplejuice ahahahahahahahahahaaaaaa! Now you get it! You see how very difficult it is to have something just "accepted" because you say it or you believe it... that's how science works my friend. If you're claiming the intervention of the Creator of the Universe, you need very good evidence - and as for "know it all" - you are the only one claiming to know something for sure here - I'm merely doing what intellectuals do by nature; I am doubting what you say due to insufficient evidence

  • @2001Horatio hahahahahahahahaha. okay. now your just getting pathetic. basically this conversation can go on forever. cause anything that i have seen or "claim to have seen" will be rebuted with some kind of exlpanation. although i was there, saw it with my own eyes, talked to my friend who it happend to, talked to his parents who were there....somehow you know the explaination. ? hahah. everyones a konw it all. i just present what i saw and how it lines up to what i believe.

  • Respond to this video... THE LAW OF PARSIMONY coupled with OCCAM'S RAZOR will stop one concluding supernatural causes where none are needed (and none are present)

  • @montyapplejuice "I've seen one before" doesn't even come close to qualifying as 'proof'! More likely explanation for the x-ray story: first x-ray was another patient's x-ray (mislabeled) or it was incorrectly interpreted. Happens all the time. Alternatively, the Creator of a Universe 14 billion light years across and billions of years old, selected YOUR friend out of nearly 7 billion suffering souls on Earth - and fixed his footy-wooty. Please!!

  • @2001Horatio ive seen one before. but first..1.a miracle, TO ME, is an extraordinary even that has came from a higher being. yeah, we'll just say higher being. that cannot be proven, or repeated rather, by science.but we'll say the "before and after" time periods are clear that something did happen. 2.according to my defonition, yes. i believe i saw a miracle.3. my friends foot was broken monday.(xrays as proof),and basically long story short, the Lord healed him next day not broke (xrays, 1day)

  • @montyapplejuice The onus is on the person claiming to have seen 'miracles' to 1. define what they mean by 'miracle' and 2. prove that what they saw (if they did in fact see it) was a 'miracle' 3. prove that what they 'saw' cannot be explained by a natural mechanism - we're all still waiting my friend
