@DUKERULES seriously the coaches blame u for everythiing that goes wrong.... being the captain of the field sucks at times....

im a catcher too and im 11. it is very hard being a catcher because u have to be alert all the time and it is also a fun position!

I really miss playing..I would do baseball recreationally, but all they have at my college is softball. And I'd rather not play on a school team.

@DUKERULES yeah rally when the pitcher blames you for a pitch that went into the dug out i get bitched at by everyone like ohh why did'nt you dive for it try taking it bieng 30 degrees out and 40-50 degrees in the suit playing all day

Cather rocks even tho I play softball bc I am a girl it rocks but alot of people dont like it because its to hot but if you have what it takes to be a catcher its soo much fun

Being a catcher rocks. Nobody ever wants to be a catcher because you have way too much responsibility and it's way too tiring.

I agree too. I catch for my high school team and did u notice that when its very hot outside its not hot when ur actually playing in the game. Its the toughest position in all of sports and many people don't realize how much crap we have to deal with.
