A more affordable solution with the same design features that those of the 1 x 40' unit.

  • Hi,

    Thanks for your feedback.

Burying the shelter would defeat the purpose of being affordable and environmentally friendly since people would be digging everywhere (imagine 50 of these units in one field), then is the action of dumping the dirt.

Besides, the mobility of the unit is one of the key issues; you can place it or move it as needed.

In most cases, these shelters could be used in hurricane stricken areas, the soil could be very unstable and digging would be cumbersome.

  • looks nice, but with that many beds inside, it appears there is no room for any clothing to be stored.

    Hi timothy,

    Thanks for your valuable feedback.

These are disaster relief shelters; people in those kind of situations don't carry too many personal belongings.

The bunk beds can be supplied with rolling drawers underneath and there are lockers situated on each side of the bunk beds.

    Regards.

    Reuben

  • it would be more shelterd if you burried the thing and but a bubble like roof ontop and had stairs in the inside to walk to the roof to get out
