The adulation that actors get often borders on the nauseating, and I think James Gandalfini actually senses it a little here and is uncomfortable. As opposed to most egomaniac actors who live for this kind of ass kissing.

@Franchiser1 lol, there is no "Tony", only Gandalfini playing Tony. Would you expect him to have someone elses' "characteristics"?

I think he's played Tony Soprano for so long that he's sorta become like him. Throughout the interview he displayed Tony-like characteristics.
