Imagine the way from this one to "Twilight", "Steppin´out" or "Midnight Blue". Jeff Lynne´s creative way was extraordinairy.
Thanks for posting. André :-)

It mentions about this album in the sleeve notes of 'First Light Series : No Answer'. Queen Of The Hours is one of my favourite early ELO songs and Jeff Lynne and Roy Wood are both amazing musicians/singers/producers.

it may be the first ELO song and it sounds great, but my fave is always going to be 10538 (Long Beach single version)!

Yes, this rare Italian flexi disc with this song, was the first ELO song published in the world, in October 1971.. before than 10538..
the first ELO song published in UK was Queen Of the hours again in Harvest compilation LP "Harvest Bag" in November 1971 (with "Ella James from The Move too)..
and finally in December 1971, the first ELO LP "The Electric Light Orchestra" and the single 10538 Overture, was published in UK..
greetings..!!
