Lol! First of all could some 1 tell me what traditional black politics is? And are these people saying blacks arent educated so there is no way Obama can relate to the rest of us? and how can some 1 say Obama didnt come from a black church or civil rights background? SMH! Didnt Obama constantly get criticize for going to what some would call too black of a church? Maybe these people never heard of a man named Rev. Wright cuz if they did they wouldnt make such a stupid statement.

America had 6-7 Black Founding Fathers... The 1st man to die in the revolutionary war was laid to rest for all to veiw for 4 days, he was called an American Hero! Not once was it mentioned that he was the 1st black man to die... He was the 1st American to die! Read the bk Setting the record streight - The American Revolution in Black & White. Your Heritage has been systematicly stolen by the progressives/wanna be commies. David Barton has recorded our true hx. Chk out his books... /curtsey

the thing I dont understand is why do black people accept everything from a bunch of people who dislike him, obama can't even speak about how he is black in front of the whites, without being deemed racist, and the very same church he's affiliated with, cant even speak about the indeceny of America without being called racist, whats so racist about talking of other's problems, I doubt he is going to do anything,

I guess we will have to see.
To my understanding, politics is a huge compromise. Lets see if he can do more than the Clintons did or not.
In theory, the democrats control Congress, don't they? In reality, most politicians are from the upper class.

Considering "blacks" as a group might be a bit of a fallacy.
Most blacks are poor, I gather? (Am I right, you tell me.)
In any case the needs of "lower class" people are fdifferent from middle class and different from upper class.
Americans have this great sell job aimed at kicking lower class in the ass:
-- Nobody cares about the quality of your public schools
-- Even clinton failed to get medicare
Obama wants to do these things but can he? He did not promise them directly?Did he?

As a guy, being white, (foreigner), I LIKE Obama.
Why? He tries to be INCLUSIVE. The guy has the charisma of Kennedy. Google Saddleback debates and listen to what he says v.s. what McCain says. He is trying to address very difficult issues. McCain is appealing to your emotions but is not apparently promising anything at all.
I get impression Jessie Jackson is almost a fraud. I don't like him.
Among Elites, Colin Powell would have been a GREAT president. Too bad, he never ran.

Wow! You couldn't get a word in edgewise after the caller started speaking. I somewhat disagree with him. I think people are always afraid of and resists change and that is exactly what Obama represents. We'll all have to wait to see if it will be a good or a bad change.
