don't know what anyone would say, but i think the most heart-broken and miserable one in the war is GArp. There was even a greater war going on in his mind called "loyalty vs family". I feel really bad for him.

@logant1990 you can look at it that way and yeah it was hard on garp, but i think even if luffy was a marine. He wouldn't stand for it. he would have fought for his brother, because that's how luffy is.

He challenged the whole world goverment 2 save robin and he hits a tenryuubito knowing an admiral would come.

@chabab No,it's still hardest for Garp. At least, Luffy and everyone else have their own sides to fight for. Garp cant join neither of them. Help to rescue Ace and he's the traitor. Helps to kill Ace and he's an *sshole grandpa and his conscience won't let him do that either. Now, even when choose not to do a thing, he is still called a cold-hearted grandpa who just looked at his grandson being killed without doing anything.

Dadan wasnt in his place so she didnt really understand.......

He lost his brother and role model.

They grew up with each other, he tried everything and he failed.
