I'm an atheist but joeb0 seems to make sense. If God does exist (which I do not believe) then the most plausible teaching is what joeb0 says. Read what he says in his posts on this thread, especially the posts made three weeks ago.
this cunt is so lame... not funny at all... lies and self serving conniver... same with that cunt with a small pink willy, bill maher.... spineless bitch of a girlyman. drones follow these pathetic morons... ahahahhahaha
So how you feel knowing you're completely out of touch with reality? It's idiots who reject science and believe in absolutely nothing and think there's no point to existence. If you would see a clock and say oh time and random chance made that, there was no designer, you would look like an idiot.
Same applies when you look at the Universe, if you look at all the universe, you would see the impossibility of random chance.
Oh and start using actual vocabulary if you want to go into a debate.
@joeb0 Looking at the universe and concluding that 'random chance' is impossible IS rejecting science. It's rejecting the entire field of Quantum Mechanics.
Not that science knows yet how the universe came to be, but it's demonstrated that there are many strong possibilities that we can look into which don't have any hint of design.
@joeb0 First of all that has nothing to do with the universe as a whole. Any meager earthly 'miracles' have no bearing on a view of 'all the universe', which is what I thought we were discussing.
Secondly, science is the only means we have for reliably explaining something. Any other method is either science taken with many shortcuts (such as gut instinct), or else is completely unreliable.
Once again, you are going against what you said and rejecting science.
@Scammanator science isn't all physical, it's also metaphysical. Just look at what happens when a house is haunted, until the goast is taken out the electricity flickers and furniture moves on its own. It's logic that our universe is more than just our dimension. Denying the fact that there's a spiritual aspect to existence is denying the laws of the universe.
@joeb0 Yeah, that ghost-hunting stuff would be the kind kind of 'science taken with many shortcuts' I mentioned.
I actually happen to agree that perhaps there is what you'd call a "spiritual aspect to existence," possibly even in the form of another dimension. But ghost stories told by sleep deprived people with low-quality cameras are not convincing evidence. If this aspect of the universe exists, we can find it with proper science and do away with superstition in the meantime.
