This video shows you how to add kerning pairs to a font from a text file, which is by far the easiest way.
Adjust the white space value to whatever suits your font and tastes — I find 200 funits is about right for me.
After running the Automatic Kerning Wizard to add the pairs, you will need to adjust some of them manually. You can do this with the mouse, with the scroll bar, or with the keyboard.
The keyboard is by far the quickest method as you can see by how quickly one can run through these 85 kerning pairs. Since some fonts have thousands of pairs, so one needs to be quick.
Left/Right cursor to change values by 10 funits
Left/Right Shift to change values by 100 funits
Left/Right Control to change values by 1 funit
Up/Down cursor to move to the Previous/Next Kerning Pair
Delete to delete a kerning pair
Type any letter (case-sensitive) to go to the kerning pair if it exists.
