@ironman5454 Who put Saddam in power? What did Saddam have to do with the twin towers? How is war necessary in our current situation. Why must we occupy Iraq? Do even know why we're there? I can support our troops, but I don't support our country invading another country for the made up reason of fighting terror and promoting freedom. What freedom?! We've actually lost more freedom since the time of the U.S occupation and Iraq doesn't want us there either. I think you're the one that's ignorant.

@ironman5454 especially in light of 9/11, he had to go. GB was in agreement along with many other smaller nations. France/Germany sand bagged us but the Bush Admin. didn't fall for it, Those in France/Germany making millions by buying oil from Saddam, who was using the $ to enrich himself btw, didn't want the war because it meant an end to their illegal & lucrative dealings with Saddam - not to mention they would be exposed once we invaded and took over Saddams residences/palaces. That simple.

War is sometimes necessary unfortunately because ignorant people refuse to play by the rules of civilized people. If your country is at war, its logical to support your country -we were 100% in the right.. We had every reason to invade and remove Saddam. Revelations that French & German citizens + UN Sec Gen son were buying oil from Saddam in violation of embargo - see UN agreement 8. Logical that they influenced Frances decision to vote against war - Germany too. READ/LEARN !!

@tw5904 If a violent felon was out on parole and refused to let the parole officer into his place while all along dealing out the back door, taking pot shots at the police (UN Peacekeepers patrolling the 'No Fly Zone'), yelling 'f*ck you all' out the window on a street in your home town would you put down the police who are putting their a** on the line to keep you safe by taking this nut job out ? @ironman5454 plus the UN Sec Gens own son was buying Saddams oil illegally in violation of the cease fire agreement. Bush caught on that something wasn't right and said BS to this, he has to go. And rightfully so. I'm not making any of this up, it the truth - and not from some right wing web site, not from the corrupt main stream either. GW Bush in fact waited longer than he should have to take Saddam out. His father agreed to let Saddam remain as long as he agreed to a cease fire. Civilized but not 'street smart'. @ironman5454 ..in direct violation of agreement. Same for refusing to let UN Inspectors check for WMDs - he kicked them out of the country ! So, we were supposed to take his word for it that he wasn't stock piling WMDS ? WHY ? Because he was such a great guy/member of the world community ?
