Nick Jonas Love Story Ep.38

(Brooke's P.O.V.)
(I was waiting unpatiently while the girls were fighting over the phone, but then I heard silence. I had to look at my phone to see if I had lost connection, but I didn't. As soon heard what sounded like a door close on the line, I waited for someone to talk.)
Nick:Brooke?
(Was I seriously hearing this right? Why was he doing this to me? All I wanted to do is forget about him, but he was making that really difficult. He waited patiently for my response.)
Brooke:I called for one of the girls.
Nick:Brooke can we please talk?
Brooke:I'm taking it they arn't there.(I tried my best to avoid his questions.)
Nick:I really want to talk with you.
Brooke:(I snapped) About what? The fact that you cheated on me? Or the fact that you are just scum like all the other fools I've dated?
Nick:Please listen-(I cut him off)
Brooke:No Nick you listen. I'm done talking to you and I'm done trying to put on a brave face. Just leave me alone, so you don't make things worse.
Nick:Fine. Can I just tell you something though?
Brooke:(I was trying to fight the tears while my cracked) What?
Nick:After everything we have been through and ever since we first met, I still love you and I always will.
Brooke:I gotta go. Tell the girls to call me later.(I hung up. UUUUHHHHHHH! Was all that could come out of my mouth. I walked over to my desk and pulled out my journal. There was only one way to let this out and it was to be through a song .......or 5. I sat on my bed and started wiring down lyrics. The words started to flow out onto the paper. I didn't realize it, but I was done in a matter of minutes. I was proud. I decided I need a break so I went down stair to get some food in me. I went into the kitchen and picked up a banana. I sat at the counter and started to eat it. Then my dad came in.[Let's call him Rick])
Brooke:Hey daddy.
Rick:Hey sweetie. How are you?
Brooke:Umm.. ok. How about you?
Rick:I'm doing good. Hey listen my friend Tom is gonna come over so we can watch the game. He's gonna bring his son so he can show you around town.
Brooke:Thanks dad, but I don't think that's necessary.
Rick:Oh come on Brooke, it might be fun? (he said the last part in a sing-song voice)
Brooke:(I gave in)Fine.
Rick:Great. (As soon as he said that the door bell rang.) Brooke could you get that? I have to set out the refreshments.
Brooke:Sure. (I walked over to the door. I opened it and saw a very tall man standing there I'm guessing he was Tom.) Hi you must be Tom. My dads in there. (I pointed down the hall to the gameroom.)
Tom:Thank you and you must be Brooke. It is very nice to meet you. (He put out his hand for me to shake and I did.) And this is my son Ryan.
(I took a look at him and I was surprised that he was actaully really cute. It's just too bad I'm not ready for another guy right now.)
Brooke:Hi. (I smiled at him and he smiled back. I took them both inside. Tom headed to where my dad was and Ryan and I headed to the kitchen to get to know eachother before heading out.)
Ryan:So how long are you hear for?
Brooke:Oh I don't know a couple of months maybe.
Ryan:Thats too bad I was hoping you would stick around for a while. (he smiled at me while I blushed)
Brooke:Well what about you, have you lived here long?
Ryan:My family and I moved here a couple of years ago from New York. We needed a change.
Brooke:Ya that's why I'm here to I needed a change of scenery.
(We talked for about an hour longer. I was actually having a pretty good time. He was nice, decent, and he didn't mind e telling him all the stuff that happend between me and Nick. It seemed like he really cared.)
Ryan:I know we just met and everything, but I was wondering if you wanted to go out to dinner tonught? You know as friends?
Brooke:(I smiled and laughed a little while he tried to get it all out without hurting himself.) I'd love to.
