I have the rb3 mustang pro guitar and wanna put the adapter in the same place the guy had for the strat but I cannot get that guitar strap screw thingy loose enough to fit it on there. The other side unscrews right off. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

That adapter is for hooking up keyboards and midi drum sets.
ANY midi keyboard and drumset will operate with it.
Only the guitar controller and the squier rb3 strat will work with RB 3.

@88patbox that guitar is specially designed for the game
you cant plug any other guitar to the game... only MIDI guitars (with buttons, not strings)
