Hi, I want to modify a Joomla template created from someoneelse. CAn I' do this on Areester ?
For example..I like a template but I need to chage some menu. o O need to import and edit in Arteester. Tank You.

@Artelian1 - no, Artisteer can't take thrid party html or psd design or layout. Mainly because everyone does them all so differently - artisteer has no way of knowing the format and how it should translate into the software. You can however use Artisteer to create the template with GUI. Then from now on in the future that file can be manipulated with Artisteer. Does this answers you? Thanks for you contact, hope this helps.

Hmmm.. it probably depends. Are you using Virtuemart? Artisteer will be for the default layout of your website. Sometimes depending the default template will show the cart contents, but like with Virtuemart it can have its own template which over rides artisteer. Not sure if that completely answers you but hope it helps.

How to import a eisting Joomla-Blog????????
MavrakisPortraits 4 months ago
@MavrakisPortraits - Not sure what you mean. You have a blog on another Joomla site and you want to transfer? If so you may need to look at some migration techniques, and/or export that portion of your MySQL database.

@MavrakisPortraits - Thanks for the clarity. You won't be able to do this unfortunately. When Artisteer renders down a template it also creates another file with an .artx extension. This is what is needed to edit the looks through Artisteer. It is similar to a .psd file. The .psd file is needed to edit the graphic, but that file can be rendered down to a pic. Very similar with Artisteer. Finally, to be clear, Artisteer would not help you in creating new pages, only in how they look.
