Hundreds of children attend the schools of the Muni Seva Ashram in the Western Indian state of Gujarat everyday. Their school meals used to be prepared over wood fires. Now a new project harnesses the power of the sun for the school canteen.

  • Its really nice to see this video.

    I am impressed with the service, and moving towards solar(Renuable Energy).

    Can we mass produce effective solar cookers, so that indian rural women(family) can offer this and also its huge move towards renuable energy, no need to completely depend on fire wood and LPGs. One way we can save forests and trees.

    We need strong governance to take some actions on this.

    I appreciate Gujarat government.
