What is your problem? I have seen you post this exact comment on a few pond videos. If you knew anything ponds, you would know mosquitos don't lay in moving water, and the koi would gladly eat the larvae if they did anyway... He did a wonderful job on his beautiful pond.

I very much so like how you have created the koi pond and the enviroment for them is just wonderful and i have a small gold fish pond in my backyard and i dont know the depth of yours but mine needs a heater in the winter to keep it from freezing all the way over. i just wanted to tell you that because that is how i lost my koi so now i just got gold fish but this is a very nice pond i must add

hey, we have koi here too!! Go to your nearest pond place and they will have the right type of fish for you, you can buy them at any size- but the bigger they are- the more they cost.

great pond, would this sorta pond be and good for australian native fish?
I have to ask... how much did it cost for all that stone? Or did you go out and find them yourself?

I took it from residential construction sites in my area. Big place where they dump loads of it. Too bad everyone doesn't have that kind of access. That rock would have cost a fortune.

Yes! Build the bog if you can. They grow so easily and they turn into these lush little jungles that you don't even have to care for.

thanks for your reply! In Utah, it can get pretty cold, so I have to run a small pump in a shallower area to keep it from freezing over.
