Tell me if these are the same riff. Boston's More than feeling riff goes like this G, C, E, D and Smell like teen spirit riff goes like this F, A#, G#, C# and btw they are using different key signature and chord progression. I think you should check those riff 's again, listen carefully.

@kossdotcom Nobody has to look at themeselves before giving an opinion on why they think a band sucks. I'm sure there are plenty of bands out there that are successful that you think suck so shut your hole. success doesn't automatically take my opinion out of the equation. I can't stand nirvana. I think they have to be the most overrated band of the 90's at least if not the last 20 years. And I'm entitled to that opinion. You can love them to death if that your thing. I don't care one whit

Just for what it's worth the Killing Joke song you're thinking of is actually called "Eighties" ... which was stolen from a song called "Life Goes On" by The Damned. Are you going to make an anti-Killing Joke video now? Because they're thieves for stealing that riff from The Damned right? --- and about influencing pop, I'm pretty sure The Beatles predate Nirvana by...oh...a couple of decades or something like that. Oh well, information clearly isn't your thing. You're more about 'emotion' right?
