  • Thank You. Great video supplement to idea of using razor blade or exacto knife instead of heat gun although I do like the heat gun also. Hard to believe that Polar did not make this batter user replaceable. I also may use some silicone to seal the circuit compartment.

  • Thanks so very much. This was a great help. The visual information were priceless. The clue about unattached pongs [1:58] which make the contact between the battery anode and the circuit board was a gift.

    I used an Exacto knife to cut the plastic to extricate the circuit board and I plan to use a silicone sealer rather than heat to ensure the re-seal.

  • I came to youtube to find a video to tell me how to do this... Thank you so very much. I might even press a little silicon into the seem just to seal it a little better.
