我が家のタロウ（GSD7歳半）、ケン（LR6歳半）、
テツ（LR1歳半）です。我が家の小さなドッグランで
毎日ボールの綱引きです。

ジャーマンシェパードにスパイクカラーをピッタリ付けて、リード­を２種つけているのは何故なのですか？

時々ボールを独占しようとしてラブラドールたちを威嚇することが­あります。その時、少し離れたところからでも引っ張れるように裏­庭では５ｍひもをつけてます。家の外の散歩ではリード1本です。­スパイクカラーは3頭ともつけてます。上の2頭はチェコ滞在中に­入手したのですが、「これをつけるといい」と言われるままにつけ­てます。

I have a male labrador, almost 6 months old. I am planning to get a second dog. I love german shepherd. But I am not sure if labs and gs can get along well or not. Can you please advice. If they do get along, should i get a male gs or a female gs.. Thank you

Actually this ball game is like a daily routine. I don't

think you will have any problems between a GS and

your male lab, as long as you treat your lab with just

a little bit extra respect. I intentionally searched for a

labrador (KEN) as a psychological counter balance to

my GS (TARO), who is slightly on the nervous side.

TETSU (younger labrador) loves playing with TARO, and

TARO likewise. I am not sure but a male might be better

than a female.

スパイク同士が接触して絡んでしまった時に首がしまってしまうの­が危険かと思います。首がしまって慌てた時に外せなくなる可能性­も有ります。水鉄砲で注意をひくってのはどうでしょう？飼い主（­ボス）自らが割って入れば、犬は素直に離れると思うのですが・・­済みません。等々な質問で・・・威嚇だけなら。、飼い主（ボス）­の一声で収まると思えてしまいました（経験談）

Labs and German S. play fine together, but there 2 totally different dog. the GS is a powerful dog built slinder and muscular able to run fast so they can herd, the Labradors are Bulit with strong Jaws, Necks and legs so they could do what they were origannly bred for haulin nets ashore for fisherman

I had a puppy german shepherd and a 5 year old lab and the got along really wellthe lab was the leader until the gs turned 7 months and it was bigger and stronger but they still got along really good.
