Making a movie these days doesn't require fancy equipment. If you have Windows on your computer and a video camera, you've already got everything you need.

Any computer running Windows probably already has the basic editing software Windows Movie Maker, and if not, you can download it free here.

The tutorials below will show you how to use Windows Movie Maker, and will help you get started editing videos on your PC.

1. Start a New Project in Windows Movie Maker

  • I didn't have a hypercam at the time this is why i used a camera. Also this was for a friend who wanted to know the basics of WMM.

    Other than that i hope you guys enjoy this tutuorial.  :)

  • @vilentwood first you have to publish the movie. Go to file, then publish. and save the movie, it will take about 3-20 minutes depending on the size of your video. after it is done, go to your videos folder and check if its saved there, if it isn't then you did't publish it correctly. if it is, then go to youtube.com, sign in, go to upload, check your video folder and select the video to upload.
