YELLOW BUNNY ANIMATION: http://bit.ly/wlQAW3

In Part 3 I cover how to use the Mesh deform Modifier to add clothing to your character. This can be done in conjunction with cloth simulation as shown in the last section of the video.

**NOTE: This video has been edited - a section was replaced in the middle of the video to more easily create a larger deformer mesh.

  • Cool Video!

But can you show us how to make Pants for our character? Because I don't want the Pants falling off again and again! :D And I have just discovered that if you select "C" while in edit mode, then you can select sides like a paint brush or something, very useful if you want to select specific parts. Please answer!!!!!!!

  • @ultima1100 Pinning the top of the pants, just like the 'body' part of the shirt, should stop them from sliding down, because they're pinned in place. And you're right, C allows you to select by painting. ;-)

  • Thank you for this wonderful tutorial on clothing! I have been scouring the internet to find someone who can explain how to make clothing and this gives me jus the right amount of basics to get started.

  • Thanks so much! that clarifies things a ton. My only remaining question is whether or not things like cloth physics still work when I import an object into a different program, like Unity 3D, or Maya.

  • to prevent the popping through you should have used the shrink wrap modifier

  • I watch your videos at least two times before I start taking notes, so I can anticipate what is going to be done next. After I take notes, I begin my modeling, following your step by step instructions in my notes.... I learn alot more this way, which explains why I am not good in school - I cant rewind the instructor!

  • great tutorial thanks for making it. :)

  • many, many, many, many, maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaany thanks

  • pwnage i've been waiting for this
