what gauge string do you use on your musician?

I'm up I-81 about 70 miles from you dude and let me tell you something, I've been playing for 30+ years, and you have definitely fucking got it!! It takes a lot to impress me, but you've accomplished it.Your sweep picking is amazing, and it's nice to see besides shredding you can also play with some feeling,as a helluva lot of shredders I've come across can't do that...

Maestro, how much longer do we have to wait fo the ibanez musician sound demo ?

hey i have just been given an ibanez musician mc 200 ds and it hasent been played for a while. I treid playing it today and the knobs are not completly working and i wanted to know if there is anything i can do about it?

Hi-I couldn't help but notice that guitar sitting on the wall over your shoulder which looks like an MC 500., and then I think that's the one you take off the wal at the very end of the video. I just bought one, and as you seem to work a lot with Ibanez, I was wondering if you'd have any comments on it's playability and performance.

allright then, cant't wait to see the new vids :D cheers

Ok cool. U play it through the right things then.
Nice video man, how does the neck on the Musician compare withe the S series? Is the musician neck the same nut width as the S series and is the neck chunky? I'm thinking about buying a musician...
Cheers man

you are correct, the mc neck is the same scale (24.75") and nut width, but about twice as fat. while my s470's paper thin neck feels great at first, it leads to terrible wrist fatigue after about an hour of playing, while the musician can be played comfortably forever. the s fingerboard radius is flatter, as well. both play equally fast. as soon as my injured finger heals, i plan on posting a video review of the musician versus the s470.

Could post some more videos of your musicians, maybe with less shredding ;) and less digital effects . Maybe something like a review showing all the nice sounds these guitars produce :D

yeah, that was the original idea. i sorta spaced, forgot about the camera, and got lost in my own little wankfest. it happens! i mainly wanted to try out my new digi camcorder. i'll ditch the background loops and focus more on the guitars themselves on the next vid. now that i have my studio set up, i can mic the amp so you can more clearly hear the range of tones these things can produce.

btw, the only effects in the vid are a reverb, vintage marshall compressor, ibanez tube screamer and super tube overdrives (best overdrive pedal EVER), and a vintage boss ce2 chorus. oh, and a first generation bad horsie wah. no pods or anything like that.

What amp are u using? Sounds digital. The mc deserves better.

oh, no... nothing digital! i'm running through an old school ampeg v5 all tube half stack. my reverb pedal is the only digital effect i own. it's just bad camcorder placement.
