I find it interesting that the arguments about this sound noise music stuff (whatever you want to label it) never talk about the freedom to just do what you want. If you don't find this video inspiring , watch something else. Why feel the need to knock it? Fred Frith is a wonder and the sound he makes is always provocative, creative, and worth hearing. Maybe you just don't like improvised noise music sound whatever this is.

maybe before posting about music you have absolutely no reference for you should research the fellow instead of posting reactionary fodder. mr frith has a consumate understanding of melody and is also a celebrated composer. hes choosing to do these things for a reason. and this is NOT easy to do.
