May.6.2009.
Barn: DEB Farms
Horse: Jock (Jac)-?? y/o Bay OTTB Gelding
Rider: Haley H.
Type Of Lesson: Flat

So this is from my lesson Wednesday. Jock looks so much better now then he did last time I saw him. He got clipped and his mane and tail done for a show he did the previous weekend, which ironically was at the barn I'm talking to right now about riding with in Fall 2009. Anyway, he got some more muscle on him and has been being worked by one of the trainers at the barn, so he is starting to get a really nice frame and headset. I know he needs to work on extending and keeping a constant frame, but keep in mind you dont know this horse or me (read below). Especially no critique on my equitation, I was NOT trying to look good. I was trying to work him into a frame and not hurt myself xD. Anway, more parts should be up soon with cantering and some fun stuff. xD But for now I could only get my hands on these.

Okay..so no critique on any riding in this video. I have not been on a horse since February of this year and am on the recovery from a softball injury in my upper thigh muscle that is currently a limiting factor when I ride. :[

  • ha i love my flamee pad xD and ha yeah...he is just like taht...he likes to bob his head but no hes not lame at all :D

  • ummm ok whatever u say but i wasn't looking at his head bobbing i was looking at his feet and his gate and he is lame but ok

  • oh yeah...still yeah i swear hes not lame...the only thing i could think of with me was that he might have been really tired cuz he had just come back from a show where he went up to like 4' supposedly but no my trainer thoroughly looks over her horses before each lesson..and even being on his back he didnt feel off at all...and i can tell when a horse is off when im on them :D

  • wow! great riding! and cute horse! :D

  • im not here to get in a fight, im just saying that i see what you mean about him maybe being lame, but i dont think he is. when a horse is learning to set its head (like my new pony green pony) their back gets tired really easily along with their neck and they sometimes move a little ouchy, only because theyre still building muscle and might get a little sore.

  • ok whatever u say but my opinion stands but i really don't wanna get in a fight though just was expressing what i think

  • auu lol thank you...this is a horrible video of me but hez really working hard to be my new equitation horse x]

  • I made it a favorite...so my frinds might check you 2 out :)
