@MaxOfS2D Eh, the Japanese have made some great animation series about america. Look at "baccano!" for instance. Sure, they all speak Japanese, but it has a great English dub, and you kind of forget it's Japanese at all when you watch it in English.

@MaxOfS2D besides. the only reason pokemon the anime is still on air is because japan makes more games. it wouldn't really make sense for them to make an earthbound anime if they never rapidly made more games of it.

there's a reason the games are so popular outside of Japan, and that's because it's based on an idealized America. hell, you couldn't even guess the Mother series came from Japan if it weren't from the female party member being named "Kumatora" in the third installment
the point being, there's nothing that could classify the series as being "weeaboo" or anything, and that's one of the many great things about it
