  • The Gyre that is depicted in the Southern Hemisphere is wrong. The Gyre in the Southern hemisphere goes Counter clockwise.

  • How can water "pile up" when the ocean is so vast. I'm confused.

  • Great work! I saw you in an Intelecom series on oceanography. This is a great resource for an online course.

  • Good stuff, better than my prof! Thx :)

  • Wow these videos are so informative and helpful ! I understand it must be a lot of work to post these and I just wanted to say that I really appreciate the time you take to make these. :D

  • thank you!

  • Thank you so much for posting all these videos! You're a savior to those who are not textbook learners (like me!). Your lectures are fantastic -- precise and very understandable.

  • The direction of your gyre on the southern hemisphere is wrong, as indicated by the direction of the winds, and also by the coriolis effect to the left on the southern hemisphere. So, it should be counter-clockwise. :)

  • thank you again! =)
