I've had no respect for Meyers since he began to refer to the pro-life movement as "anti-women movement" (and nodded approval towards someone who dubbed them "pro-rapist"). Now I have even less.

No you don't need rules at conferences that forbid rape and rape threats, because there are rules in society that govern that, it's called the law.

People don't need to be reminded. Giving people this list of rules tells the people attending these conferences, that they will all be considered potential rapists.

Not a fun or enjoyable experience for anyone, especially if you've given up time and money to attend.

How can you possibly give them any credit for a sense of humor? That's ludicrous. At some point in time, SOMEONE'S going to be offended by anything said, and as soon as someone's offended, well, that's something we can't say anymore. Any logical being can see that as soon as we empower someone who doesn't like the content - who can simply turn and walk away, mind you - to instead bring down the wrath of god upon the speaker, how long until we have Thoughtcrime exactly? btw, 9/10
