PBR Wi-fi Battle 1/23/08 B

Here is my second battle with my new UU team. This was a pretty great one.

*SPOILERS*

Infernape is getting really common these days. Even more so than before. At least it looks cool though, unlike most standards. I just don't like how it came in and totally eclipsed Blaziken that way.

Ah, Pikachu. This is actually the first time I've seen someone use it on Wi-fi. I had one before, but it ran a mixed set. This one seems to have an all physical set, which is interesting. On PBR, it's probably more effective than a mixed set considering the 3 vs. 3 nature of Wi-fi battles. In the end, I was fine to take a loss to Pikachu, since it takes serious skill to use one correctly.

My team: Hitmontop, Arbok, and Mantine.

My opponent's team: Infernape, Steelix, and Pikachu

Hey, it's Arbok. That's the one fully-evolved Pokémon I never saw in a Japanese video of PBR. ALl other fully-evolved Pokémon I saw at least once, even stuff like Corsola, Delibird, and Luvdisc.

Hitmontop is pretty good. In a battle where the computer ran out of power as I was recording, I was whooped by a Hitmontop who used Bulk Up, then Mach Punch.

Oh, I didn't even consider Bulk Up. I probably would have put it over Fake Out if Fake Out weren't so useful in Double Battles. And it keeps Weavile from surviving Mach Punch with Focus Sash...

Technically ALL tiers are fake. None of them are Nintendo official, thus making them a fan-created concept. So BL is just as real as any other tier. :p
