A very firm landing into leeds. When you land into leeds theirs a 90% its going to be hard, because of the position and the shape of the runway, people started to clap when we came to a stop, rather rude I think.

that was not a hard landing at all - you should try being on a Ryanair flight into Biarritz with a hefty crosswind and a Spanish pilot. If the plane only bounces once, that is classed as a good landing

You are aware that LBIA's runway has a slight rise in it, preceeded by or followed by a concave section right? (type 'leeds bradford runway' into google images - 4th image across illustrates this).

The aircraft has to be put down on a certain point, otherwise it will coast. There is none of this 'feather it in' bullshit - it goes in firm on a quite exact point.
