Spike in Homeless Children in America

IT is unacceptable for children to suffer in the RICHEST nation of the world. The problem is right in front of your face Mr.President Obama and you are only increasing military expending.

Yes this so sad! I was visiting just 2 weeks ago and nearly lost my heart and soul trying to feed and house the homeless children l saw in Vegas! I was even kicked out of the home l was visiting for Thanksgiving because l was helping the "filth". l put 6 kids in ahotel with my own money and pray to GOD l can get job to get the money to help more. My God l hope we can get an army of hugs to unite and go get these kids and apologize to them for allowing this to happen AT ALL!! Please!

@VALsacount2 I fully agree with you the kid's are her own fault and it look's as though she has been eating pretty regularly, as someone greatly effected by this "ecconomy" I'll have you know my mother lost her job and her house I moved in with my sister and the same thing happened now I am with my brother ( I'm 16 btw ) and have applied to every business establishment I have scene and nothing. I know how hard it is to get a job even at fast food across America. Stay positive!

Ah I remember being in those situations... Guess whats next? What happens when she loses the car or it breaks down and can't afford it? Where is she going to get a job after that? Its all a fucked up cycle. Once u start going down, if you have no help.. you will continue to go down until your homeless and with no transportation. Gotta love America.

Okay, while the parents go through whatever and whenever to "qualify" and "learn" to take responsibility for the kids they had; in the first place, we will just keep the kids cozy and waiting patiently, safe and warm in the streets until the parents "graduate" from parent college! It is exactly that narrow minded thinking that put our kids in this prediccament anyway!

Getting out of porverty is difficult but it is easier to do in the US than any other nation, if you work hard. There will always be poor people no matter how many you help but the poor in the US are the minority. Also people complain too much. There are imigrants that come her dirt poor and the prosper.
