  • your making me hungry for the pork roast crackling

  • Actually torah or the old testament, keep that in mind or else the christians would probably stop eating pork. lol.

  • In 2:173, 6:145, 16:115???

What does it mean there is 114 sourat in the Quran...

  • i guess there is no reason to raise pigs!

  • 3. The 24 people out of 300 million people in the US (0.000008% of the population) probably didn't wash their hands after using raw/uncooked pork, or used the same plate to do both the raw pork and the cooked pork. That is down to poor handling of food. You can eat the pork in the US if it is medium cooked, but in third world countries, you need to have your pork well-done.

    4. Just because an animal is "dirty", doesn't necessarily mean that the insides are as well.

  • 2. Human and animal feces (Excreta is biologically incorrect) is used as fertilizer and in some African cultures: as building material for their houses. It provides insulation on cold nights and it cools the house on scorching days. So if you are eating vegetables and meat from a farm that uses fertilizer (which I can stake my reputation that you do), you might as well call yourself "as filthy as a pig".

  • I have issues with these statements:

    1. There are many different type of tapeworms, and all animals have worms. Schistosomes, Paragonimus westermani, Toxoplasma gondii, Toxocara canis/cati to name a few.... hell I'll take it a step further:... don't go into the water to play or you'll pick up the parasite Naegleria fowleri. You can even find live worms in uncooked fish e.g. sushi. To single out pigs is just sheer stupidity.

  • Forbiden or not, I try to minimize pork because of it's high content cholesterol. Veggies will do the job.

  • The herbs were made for meat not pork

  • Yea it was good for its purpose, everything was not made to be eatin, pigs were not made to be eatin, they were made to scavange not to be consumed!
