  • Has MMS either. You have to set it up with your Telco and you can't send someone an MMS unless their phone and their telco allows it. MMS is locked down. The Internet is not.

  • MMS is very useful. with the iphone you can send a photo on a email or to a web site, but what I only want one person to see the photo?

I love my iPhone, but there is no reason what so ever to eliminate the MMS other than to maybe add it as a special service later and charge extra for it or simple to push other to buy an iPhone and I can only send emails not MMS. So if they want to receive photos or I want to receive them too, we all need iPhones.

    How about that!!!

  • Good points. Although I would argue why don't you private msg with a Facebook app or a twitter app or god forbid anemail from your iphone! I guess my point is that MMS is a convoluted system developed so the telcos have another revenue stream. Devices like the iphone, which make it easy to distribute media will find away around that. Sure if none of your friends can access the web or email from their phones I can see an argument for MMS but the web and email are free. MMS is not. Not everyone

  • If you love it so much.....

  • It is actually legal in Vietnam to marry an appliance if you must know Cam, which is of course why I am here.
