That looks like back raises to me.
I thought glute ham raises were when u had your lower legs pinned and raised and lowered the rest of your body.

I like this routine. Is this routine ok to do for a beginner who is lifting weights? I havent come up with a routine during my leg day.

This video was posted in June. They most likely changed their routine up a bit. Though yeah, it is a bit confusing. Calf exercises or not, their workout splits have greatly improved my gains in the past few weeks.
