CRUISING ON A JONAS BROTHERS LOVE STORY SEQUEL chp 64

[All through dinner, the guests hit their forks against their glasses. This was the fifth time the brides and grooms had to kiss, and Sarah was getting tired of it. She slipped away without anyone noticing and made her way to the garden. She looked out at the flowers and the fountain that was set up especially for the wedding]
NICK: Hey.
[Sarah turned around to see Nick making his way to her. So she hadn't slipped way unnoticed after all]
SARAH: I needed some fresh air.
NICK: Same.
[Sarah tried to forget Nick was beside her. She let the sounds of the garden into her ears while she blocked out the sounds of the party. It worked for a while, but Nick didn't like the silence]
NICK: You look beautiful today.
SARAH: Thanks.
NICK: I'm sorry about what I said at the park the other day. I was angry, and I didn't mean to ignore everything we had together. It's just...seeing you with another guy while we were still dating was hard. And...
[Sarah didn't know why Nick was bringing this up, especially since he was the one to say they were over]
SARAH: I know. And we're over.
NICK: I didn't want to make it sound like I didn't want to see you again ever.
SARAH: What are you trying to say?
NICK: I...Maybe we could start over. You know, as friends.
SARAH: Really?
NICK: Really.
[Nick hugged Sarah gently and was glad he didn't have to have her out of his life]
SARAH: Thank you.
[Maybe they could have their special day after all]

[Nick and Sarah were able to come back to the party smiling. They saw Kevin, Joe, Sheryll, and Sam in the middle of the dance floor surrounded by their parents. The music playing had an upbeat tempo]
NICK: Would it be weird if I ask you to dance with me?
SARAH: I'm not much of a dancer, but I wouldn't mind trying.
[Sarah took the hand Nick offered her. they danced near Kevin, Joe, Sheryll and Sam who gave them both smiles]
[The rest of the night passed in a haze of fast dancing, lights, cake eating, and the throwing of bouquets. Sheryll's came close to Sarah, but she didn't reach for it. She'd rather not jinx her new relationship with Nick. Sheryll and Sam had changed into more comfortable dresses and Kevin, Joe, and Nick took off their suit jackets. It was around midnight when the guest started leaving. The newlyweds saw their guests off and then gathered around the living room with Nick, Sarah and Frankie]
NICK: Do you guys feel any different?
KEVIN: Not really. I still feel like Kevin.
JOE: You look like Kevin, too.
SHERYLL: Wow. I'm still pretty pumped from the wedding.
SAM: Me too. I don't think I'll be able to sleep at all tonight.
[Kevin and Joe exchanged sly looks]
SHERYLL: Oh grow up guys. Save it for the honeymoon.
[They all started laughing]
SARAH: When does the honeymoon start?
SAM: When we reach our honeymoon suites.
JOE: Ours is in Rome.
KEVIN: Sam and I are going to have more fun in the Bahamas.
JOE: Yeah, have fun getting burned by the sun.
KEVIN: Yeah, well I hope you have fun being eaten by lions.
[Joe was about to reply but Sheryll cut him off]
SHERYLL: Ok, ok. Guys, let's try to get some sleep. Our flights leave early in the morning.
