Just thought of something. Why didn't the Imperium just send in the Sisters of Battle, incorruptible and massive numbers, they'd still destroy most of the sector, but they'd still be able to make use of the sector as well? Seems like an awful waste of a sector, especially since the corruption really isn't that bad, its just Kyras has the Imperium freaking out.
