I know what you mean. I've changed schools a good 4+ times over the issue. It'll always be the same. What we really need is harsher consequences. Like suspensions are going to convince kids not to do it. There will always be someone out there and there is nothing someone says that can change that. Sometimes it's possible, most times not.

Grow up. A lot of gay kids in schools get bullied. This speech was part of an initiative to combat that. End of. And yes, it is a very clear alarm-bell ringing sign of bigotry to try and claim combatting homophobia equates 'promoting' homosexuality.
