@HowFarAreWeNow Actually NO people are not supposed to point when someone is doing wrong or what you perceive to be wrong that's my whole point. Stop pointing out peoples wrongs no matter if they actually are wrong or not that's not your job. Give me chapter and verse for this idiotic belief of yours and I'll shut up.

@angelmrpaul Agreed. Face it this world is a rather depressing place. Many people listen to Joel because he is always positive and always tries to offer hope. Maybe people would listen to you more too if you weren't so critical.

I'm a skeptic at heart and I have been waiting for someone to dig up dirt on Joel, but honestly the most I've seen is absolutely far reaching and laughable. Link him to Devil Worshipers and then maybe you'll have something but honestly one interpretation of the Bible vs another is not concrete enough. These are loose interpretations. He clearly has scripture that supports what he is preaching. Jury is still out but I haven't seen a red flag yet.

When I see scripture that supports yahweh wanting his people to prosper it makes me think the enemy wants mankind to think negative so they will not prosper. Joel Osteen once said in an interview that Prosper does not necessarily equate to wealth. I wonder if this is why the Catholic Church preached that to have any wealth was a sin, while the high ranking clergy lived quite lavishly. Makes you wonder. Hmmm.

@angelmrpaul How am I judging? I got the book off Amazon that he mentioned on here and everything is in there except a few facts. The video maker gave a personal opinion at the end an that's his right but every event is fact. The seat cost, the sign blowing down. As far as I see it, people have their opinions but I see Joel Osteen as a false minister. I compare what everyone says against scripture as should everyone else.

@angelmrpaul Who's judging? How is it judging to say what the truth is? I think this guy has it right on. People aren't supposed to point when someone is doing something wrong? Are you on God's side or Osteen's side? Because you can't be on both since Osteen's words contradict what the bible says.

@skoopoop08 You need to wake and realize that this guy is teaching self-gratification and self-positive thinking. get into scripture and read how Jesus was tempted by Satan in the wilderness for 40 days with all of the things that Osteen is teaching in his books. "You're Best Life Now" is not what God wants for you. Ever read what Christ says about us losing our lives and finding it? or how about NOT acquiring treasures on this earth? I think this guy is right on the ball and you feel threatened
