Can someone please clear something up for me? What is the difference between "Arcade" and "regular" mode, aside from the split screen/full screen one?

The pc engine does this title justice, it may not be as good as the genesis version but it is good

That's good to hear. I don't really mind if you have to use one, anyway (although I don't like computer emulators very much). At the very least, it's not much of a loss in quality, anyway.

Columns? It's like Tetris and Bejeweled combined in one! I just found out something suprising about you: you use an emulator to capture both video and sound. Is this really true, and do you use it for all of the games?

Yes I do, that way I get the best quality. The differences between good emulation and the 'real' thing are so slight as to be not worth worrying about.
