This scene demonstrates the environment where the baby seals were born before the global warming.

Background

Finnish Broadcasting Company and French television channel Arte had started to produce a documentary about the situation of seals and porpoises in Baltic Sea. The documentary was supposed to deal among other things with the effect of global warming to these animals.

When the commission editors saw the rough-cut of the film they were shocked and stated that not even a second of the material was usable. They stated that "use of shock images and shock music" is absolutely not allowed in nature documentaries that are meant for family audiences and according to them the audience is not interested to see the damage people are causing to environment.

Because of the reaction from commission editors any use of the edition was strictly prohibited, the production ran out of money and was never finished.

These 4 clips from the rough-cut are the only evidence left of this massive film production.

I don't understand how a video that shows seals swimming through water and crawling on ice brings any message about global warming across.

So far I don't even know if this clip is supposed to prove or disprove global warming.

Awww, I feel so sorry for the little baby seals and their sad mothers struggling to help them against all odds. They look like they are suffering. How can anyone with any scrap of humanity in their hearts look at those cute little faces and not think we must do anything within our power to help. The poor things are freezing to death and all their water is frozen so they have no place to swim. What can we do to help? Whatever it is, we must make an effort.

Someone ought to ban climate change so just pass another amendment to the Patriot Act & instead of that 1\3 of the US Constitution sitting there alone all naked bleeding & wondering what happened to it's anal virginity remove the whole freaking thing entirely & then replace it with one single all powerful misconception & after doing the same thing to any recalcitrant religions govern the US & by direct implication the rest of the world with one big all powerful mater-faking delusion.
