The video definitely fits to the song. Actually it is a dychotomy. The video only confirms the fact that it's not true "she couldn't care less". She does really care, she just tries to make the people see that she doesn't care anymore. It's a very common position to find yourself in.
The meaning of the video is condensed in the fact that she defeats her enemies and in the end she smiles...just until she finds out her craft is falling to pieces which is a very sad moment.
