the cor anglais sounded pretty on the money with the tuning, their was a slight difference when the flute had its entry because of the different tone

The oboe is higher in pitch than the english horn at the beginning, maybe that's what patrick meant? Especcially at 2:25.
english horn solo is great. I love this piece.
