*I do not own the sprites or the character (nor do I take credit for them, only the video).
I don't see this as a tutorial really but it shows how I animate walking sprites and it is done correctly. I've seen many people complain about how they can't get their sprites to "stop" animating if they have let a button go in Game Maker so maybe my next video will be about game maker and using proper image changing when a button is released and what not.
I sped the video up (that's why I'm not calling it a tutorial). After I am done animating it in paint (yes I used MS Paint) I import all of the sprite images into a folder and then into Game Maker. Hopefully you will be able to see what I am doing during the video and if not, watch in full screen please!

You can simple got it from the strip in game maker. there is an option for create from strip or ad from strip.

@croseer In Game Maker, sprites must be centered. If some sprites are not within the sound "boundaries" of the box, then your animation won't be or look perfect. That's why I never use that feature.

@xXxZeffaxXx Oh. So why not edit each image so that its in the middle? its way fuckin faster than this way

@BlackHawkRob So I know it's exactly the way I want it to be. I've been animating and editing sprites for years this way. You stick to the way you edit and I'll stick to the way I edit.

@erkQuy Yhea, I'll actually have to reanimate it since I don't think I saved any of these files after I made the video. I'll send you a message when I have uploaded it though. If just want the whole sprite sheet, let me know.
