The love story of Colonel Brandon, so consequently Alan Rickman centred.
Music by Patrick Doyle. Film clips from "Sense and Sensibility".
This was the first video I ever made, about 2 years ago.

  • or scorn or pity on me take, i must the true redemption make

    i am undone tonight

love in a subtle dream disguised

hath both my heart and me surprised

whom never yet he durst attempt to wake

nor will he tell me for whose sake

he did me the delight or spite

but leaves me to inquire in all my wild desire of sleep again

who was his aid, and sleep so guilty and afraid

and since he dares not come within my sight

  • FINALLY, this masterpiece is available for the whole world to enjoy. Many thanks!!!

  • this poetry is beautiful, took me second to understand what it was saying. but so tentative, sweet, and unassuming love.

  • The MOST beautiful man in the whole Jane Austen saga (and yes, I prefer the Rickman version). Too beautiful for words. Thank you so much, so much. Brandon's face when he's finally married to Marianne, and her serene and content face say it all...

  • A true masterpeice and Jane's voice is perfect for it! Thank You!

  • DESEARIA PODER ESCUCHAR ESTA BELLA MELODIA EN MP4 COMO HACERLO ?

  • Is anyone able to confirm if it's "true redemption make" or "true relation make"? In the film, Marianne seems to sing "relation", and the Ben Jonson poem also says "relation." But in the official sheet music I have at home, it says "redemption." Would appreciate if anyone can clarify.

  • the words are from a Ben Jonson poem and its' not Redemption make it's True Relations Make.

  • beautiful...love it...it makes me cry...I really thank you for having posted it! :)

  • @dalro90

I agree wholeheartedly. It is such a beautiful song.

  • @beaumonk Isn't it beautiful:).
