@DrunkenRuckus Louisiana Red is in a class of his own. No doubt about it. I had the pleasure to listen to him a couple of times in Germany. His bare presence gives you an indescribable notion.

@Kugelscheibe I wouldn't have uploaded the original if I liked Eric Burdon's version. I feel that he butchered it. There are some musicians out there that do a good job on covers and they also pay their due for it as well. Jack White is a huge Son House fan and covers him all the time. He doesn't go overboard doing it either. Don't get me wrong, I like Eric Burdon's stuff back with The Animals. There's just covers that I like but most I dislike.

Thanks for posting. I second your comments about the cover versions overshadowing the original. I lost my mp3 of this song and had a hard time finding the original. Glad to have found this.
