"Clean Elections: Changing the Face of America" is a video narrated by journalis "Clean Elections: Changing the Face of America" is a video narrated by journalist Bill Moyers on the influence the Clean Elections movement--or publicly financed elections--has had on politics and campaigns in Maine, Arizona, and North Carolina. The video includes interviews from politicians and citizens from Arizona and Maine as well as comments from national organizations including Public Campaign, Common Cause, and Democracy Matters.
@teemu21 The point to this video is that no matter how you vote, it won't mean a thing because all the money candidates get from special interests and lobbyists will drown out people's voices and then we are the ones who pay the bill for it. Clean elections has already put people's trust in government again in a few states already. This is not a left or right issue. It should be an issue that all people regardless on your political view should be in a huge favor of.

@teemu21 ...The ethical/Constitutional key to the Clean Elections Law ( like the one passed by citizen referendum in Massachusetts then subverted by the Demorat legislature) is that it be optional, an offer of sufficient public funding for candidates that forego private interest money.
Crucial issue and a matter of strong rought consensus once people know what you're talking about.

At the present, the two most harmful elements in politics are teachers' union and ambulance chaser lawyers' union. Teacher unions prevent school choice eventhough socialist countries like Sweden have it. School choice is not right vs left, it is right vs. wrong. Ambulance chasers cost according to highest estimates 1 trillion dollar to rest of society.
