ok, compared to nhl 10 this game is pretty much the same. the only two differences are the board plays and first person fighting, which i got tired of after a while

everything is really good for this game except the fact that if you are controlling a player that is coming out of the corner and right into the side of the goal towards the center of the ice, the goalie for some reason thinks he can get a save by diving on the ice leaving it easly for the player to get a goal which pretty much ruins how realistic the save attempts by the goalie are

I hate how NHL 09 is just the same as NHL 08 except the checking and poke checking and whatever. Anyways it's not really that better then NHL 08 though. Still knocks the fucking crap out of NHL 2K9.
